אָב‏   n.m. #2  Ab


  Ab (July/August)  Com-OA-BA-Syr.  TgJ Ez20:1 : וַהֲוָה בְשַתָא שְבִיעֵיתָא בַחֲמִישָאָה באב בְעַסרָא לְיַרחָא‏ .  MegTaan 13 : בחמשה עשר באב זמן אעי כהניא‏  on the 15th of Ab it is the celebration of the priestly wood.  FTP Ex12:2 : אב ענא ואמר בי אינון מתפרקין‏ .  PJ Num20:29 : וכיוון דנח נפשיה דאהרן אסתלקו עננא יקרא בחד לירחא דאב‏  when Aaron passed away the cloud of glory ascended, on the first of the month of Av.
